Your home is your castle. That’s where you come to relax, enjoy your family and friends. But then, what if your house suddenly has no electrical power? Simple tasks can become complex and your entire life gets complicated.
A Generator is the solution to guarantee your life will keep going on, even when an electrical power outage occurs. Our electricians will be happy to talk with you and understand your specific situation. Then, we will recommend the most suitable residential standby generator solution.
There are many options and we will guide you to choose the perfect one for your home. We have experience electrical contractors on installing all kinds of generators, from the lowest cost manual generator, to the most advanced automatic power backup system.
Some examples of residential standby generators provided by Keating Electric:

|
Manual – These are the lowest cost, are stored until needed, typically run on gasoline, and are designed to be plugged in when a power outage occurs. They aren’t designed to power your whole house, but can give you power where you need it the most: well pump, furnace, certain appliances, and a few light fixtures, etc. Manual generators are often small, somewhat portable and require starting and hooking up when an outage occurs.
-
Automatic – At your request, we can recommend and install an automatic generator that automatically kicks in when your regular power supply goes out. True to their name, these provide power automatically to your house without any need for you to be home or take any action. The generator will automatically start when needed, and shut down when not needed. Plus, when at rest, the generator will automatically test itself once a week so you can be sure that if and when the need arises, it's ready to perform.
